Lincoln Brigham is the owner of Gryphon Strength & Conditioning, specializing in coaching Olympic weightlifting. Lincoln has been coaching the Olympic-style lifts for 18 years and has taught other trainers at workshops and certification seminars throughout the west coast and Canada. Lincoln is a past National Masters Champion and National Masters record holder. He took bronze at the 2019 World Masters Weightlifting Championships as well as medaling at the 2019 Pan Am Masters. He took medals at the National Masters Weightlifting championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2014, 2015, and 2019.
Athletes he has worked with have qualified for USA Weightlifting Youth Nationals, Junior Nationals, American Open Series, American Open Finals, Senior Nationals, National Masters, Pan Am Masters as well as CrossFit Regionals and CrossFit Games. He is a two-time medalist at the Sedona Marathon 5K race, as well as an individual gold medalist and two-time team bronze medalist at the NW Ergomania indoor rowing competition. He took first place at numerous dance championships across the country including the UCWDC World Championships.
Lincoln’s certifications past and present include the USA Weightlifting Club Coach (2001), USAW Advanced Coaching (2015), LWC referee, SafeSport, Program Design, and USADA Athlete Advantage. CrossFit certifications include CrossFit Level 2 (2005), Olympic Weightlifting Level 2, Gymnastics, Judge, Nutrition, Scaling, and Rowing. He received the CSCS certification from the National Strength Coach Association in 2002.
